ABOUT US
Patterson Environmental Design Solutions is a small, hard-working landscape design and consultation company based out of North Georgia. We are a husband and wife team who offer our clients the full design and construction package with a personal touch. We truly care about you and your project and will be there for you from the design phase through the construction of your project. Our goal is to feel good about what we do and that means environmentally responsible designs that work and make our clients happy.
Isabel Gonzalez Patterson
Owner/Manager
Isabel Patterson has over 17 years in the Banking industry focusing on customer service and client satisfaction. Isabel has assisted clients with large accounts as well as those with smaller accounts with equal understanding and attention to the customer's needs. The understanding of the client's needs as well as the knowledge and patience to deal with various, sometimes complex and unique situations sets Isabel apart from other customer service specialists. Being fluent in Spanish allows her to assist a more diverse clientele also.
On a Personal note:
I'm a first generation Cuban American wife and mother of 2. My parents live locally and my brother resides in Florida. Like most people, I just want to live a life I can be proud of. The best way I know how to accomplish that is by working hard, treating people the way I would want to be treated and leaving the Earth a little better than I found it.
When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family. I love having an extremely active 8 year old boy and a newborn baby girl to brighten our lives. We enjoy being outdoors, cooking, hiking and traveling mostly. We love the beach and enjoy spending quality family time with both of our extended families. I am lucky to realize that life is good and everyday is a gift.
Our Company
We have always dreamed of owning our own company so that we could work towards our own personal success, as well as, making clients happy and also being good stewards of the enviornment. Our love of the outdoors and our personal committment and passion for what we do brings us a little closer to our goals each day. Our passion, knowledge and experience brings us great satisfaction as well as bringing great value to our clients.
We are members of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, the
American Society of Landscape Architects and the Boy Scouts of America.
Whenever we can, we volunteer or donate profit to our community through the Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation department, St. Jude Children's Charities, the Boy Scouts of America, our church and also those charities our clients and friends deem important.
David James Patterson
Owner/Landscape Architect
David Patterson has over 23 years of planning and design for the following land use types: residential, high density residential, higher educational facilites for various project types, k-12 schools, office and business parks, churches, streetscapes, retail, recreational, and industrial / distribution developments.
My experience includes managing projects and client relationships for clients in both the public and private market. Clients include; military, Center for Disease Control (CDC), Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), Board of Regents, K-12 administrations both public and private, including Atlanta Public Schools, hospitals and outpatient facilities, religious institutions, large architectural design houses and large corporate development organizations. I also have extensive relationships with arborists and plan review administrators throughout the Greater Metro Atlanta areas and throughout the Southeast.
I have provided professional services for detailed site planning, hardscape and landscape design and irrigation design from the conceptual design stage through the construction document phase and contract administration. I have worked with various municipal entities for permitting and zoning as well as many LEED projects. This design experience allows me to balance high quality design with functionality, creating a highly marketable product.
On a Personal note:
I am a transplant from Carmel Indiana. I have worked in the Atlanta area for my entire professional career. I have a great love of the outdoors and the beauty of our natural enviornment. I have been blessed to live in Georgia and experience all of the natural beauty this state has to offer. I believe my appreciation for nature has led me to my career so that I can protect, preserve and enhance the natural enviornment.
When I'm not huggng trees, I live to experience the special moments with the family I am lucky enough to have. I enjoy vacationing at the beach, boating, fishing and especially my time on the golf course. I love my Sundays, church day, when I get to spend special time with the most important people in my life. During this time I truly have a sense of the beauty that life has to offer.
